Ohio Department of Insurance Director Jillian Froment declares a free “Welcome to Medicare” presentation at the Twinsburg Senior Center to assist soon-to-be Medicare recipients learn about coverage options.
The event is scheduled for the day of April 27 at 2 and 6 p.m. at the Twinsburg Senior Center, 10260 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg. Call the Twinsburg Parks and Recreation Department at 330-963-8722 to register.
Topics will involve Medicare Parts A and B benefits, the Part D prescription drug benefit, Medicare Supplement plans, Medicare Advantage plans, financial assistance and key deadlines.
“These occasions are a great resource for Ohioans who are seeking data about Medicare coverage,” Froment claimed. “Future Medicare recipients will come away from these events better prepared to opt coverage that best suits their budget and health care requirements.”
In the year of 2016, the department ranked No. 1 in the nation and saved Ohioans $28.8 million by helping people in comparing and selecting suitable plans and connecting people with financial assistance programs, in accordance to the ODI.
