Minnesota Community Healthcare Network, developed through an alliance between Canvas Health, Guild Incorporated, Mental Health Resource, RESOURCE, INC. and Touchstone Mental Health, declared today it has united with RelayHealthto develop interoperability amongst its campuses.
RelayHealth, McKesson’s health data exchange business, offers clinical connectivity technology for agencies across the healthcare organization.
With the assistance from RelayHealth, MCHN will deal the requirement to unite clinical information, manage sufferer consent and protect interoperability among the individual hospitals.
“Having approach to a person’s entire health record during an emergency department tour or other point-of-care can make a difference in choices and decisions made by practitioners and customers,” stated MCHN Chair Grace Tangjerd Schmitt, in a statement.
“This recent ability will give people and care groups with the data they need – assisting them to integrate and collaborate services suitably across care atmospheres,” she further added.
MCHN considers joining with RelayHealth will encourage connectivity and interoperability objectives across its care atmospheres to aggregate sufferer data.
The partnership is designed to encourage the Mission Hennepin Community Collaborative, developed by MCHN through the Minnesota Accountable Health e-Health Initiative and the Hennepin County Medical Center and Hennepin Health partnership, to further the team’s health data exchange aims.
The Minnesota Department of Health gave MCHN with State Innovation Model funds, partially from a $45 million testing grant in the year 2013 from the CMS (Center of Medicare and Medicaid) Innovation to execute the Minnesota Accountable Health Model.
“By developing interoperability within its community, MCHN is constructing a foundation for more connected, collaborated care,” Ken Tarkoff, senior vice president, general manager, RelayHealth, claimed in a statement.
